Generate Ammonium Nitrate Fertilizer
The ammonia fertilizer solution produced by the LWR system creates an economic benefit of 1.0 cent per gallon of your produced manure. This material can be used on your land base or sold to local users.
With a LWR system 10% to 15% of the manure is concentrated as a liquid. This liquid ammonium nitrate fertilizer is highly concentrated making it more efficient to apply to your own lands. Additionally, because it is concentrated, the fertilizer from the LWR system is economical for transport and sale. Our estimates have been calculated assuming a price of $0.50/lb of nitrogen and transportation provided by the buyer.
| Manure Produced Per Year (Gallons) | Nitrogen Fertilizer Produced Per Year (Pounds) | Estimated Market Value of Fertilizer |
|---|---|---|
| 4,000,000 | 100,000 | $50,000 |
| 6,000,000 | 150,000 | $75,000 |
| 10,000,000 | 250,000 | $125,000 |
