CALGARY, AB – (Sept 11, 2019) With a progressive vision of sustainable food production, the National Pork Board, based in Des Moines, Iowa, has announced that it will host the inaugural Swine Innovation Summit in Indianapolis on Sept. 17, 2019. The association has invited LWR CEO Karen Schuett to present the LWR manure treatment platform and expand on how using technology can improve on-farm sustainability. She will also share her recent experience as a member of THRIVE, 2019’s Most Valuable AgriFood Tech Accelerator.
The Swine Innovation Summit will focus on three key drivers of change including emerging technology, new and dynamic business models and consumer behaviors which impact shopping preferences and food choices. As part of its mandate to support pork research, promotion and education, the National Pork Board is offering the conference free of charge to pig farmers, swine veterinarians, authorized academics and allied industry.
